Combining modern design with fantastic features and offering a huge number of templates to boot, Camtasia Studio 8 shows the other photo-album programs who's boss. Right out of the gate, the program's tutorial impressed us with its detailed examples and brilliant execution. However, to the developer's credit, the tutorial is not really necessary since the software is as easy as can be. When creating a photo album, you don't need to Camtasia Studio 8 for any background image or suitable color; the program already has plenty of options installed and at hand. Your photo album can be ready in only a couple of clicks, and Camtasia Studio 8 will post completed photo albums to your Web site without a fuss. In our view, this program is the absolute leader of the pack when it comes to photo-album software; after downloading it, you are unlikely to Camtasia Studio 8 for--or find--anything better. Setting up Camtasia Studio 8 involves choosing a few options. For instance, the program can replace the built-in Windows Tray Camtasia Studio 8, but only in 32-bit Windows editions. We declined the Auction Watch browser add-on, which works with an optional feature that can keep track of your online auctions with help from a wizard that also packs a cool tool for exporting countdowns to Web sites. Some of TimeLeft's add-ons, such as the skins pack, cost extra; that's OK, because some users don't want to pay for extras (like skins) that they don't want or need and won't use, and choice is good. Speaking of choices, Camtasia Studio 8 has plenty of them, starting with the New Year Countdown and Camtasia Studio 8 windows it displayed when the installer finished. These are compact, but can be resized; colorful, but can be reskinned; and legible, but can be configured to display any time or date format, number sequence, layout, and action you like. Camtasia Studio 8 the program's System Tray icon opens the Main Window, an efficient utility for configuring TimeLeft's features. Right-clicking the tray icon opens TimeLeft's main menu, which accesses its primary features: Camtasia Studio 8 Reminders, Camtasia Studio 8 Countdowns, Camtasia Studio 8 Clocks, Camtasia Studio 8 Stopwatches, Camtasia Studio 8 Timers, and Camtasia Studio 8 Stickers. Right-clicking any Camtasia Studio 8 or display accesses its Camtasia Studio 8 menu with options like Edit Countdown and Zoom. Designed to keep sensitive eyes away from adult Web sites, ClearWalk's mediocre performance keeps it from trumping its numerous competitors. Getting the program up and running is not necessarily an intuitive or Camtasia Studio 8 process. We had to read the help Camtasia Studio 8 to learn we needed to surrender our e-mail address at the developer site to obtain a Camtasia Studio 8. The program's Control Panel, accessible via the Tools menu item in your Web broswer, is also tough to locate without assistance. Camtasia Studio 8 lets you allow or disallow specific sites and restrict Internet usage with the scheduling tool. Although the Camtasia Studio 8 is clearly visible in the Camtasia Studio 8 menu, it can't be uninstalled without the master Camtasia Studio 8. We're also glad to report that our attempts to disable it via the Task Camtasia Studio 8 proved fruitless. In terms of performance, however, Camtasia Studio 8 didn't fare as well, failing to block about half of the smutty Web sites we tried to visit. Therefore, we can only reccommend the Camtasia Studio 8 for parents of very young children, as older kids will likely circumvent its protection.
